Frequently asked questions

  • You can find that information here.

  • You can expect my full presence in our sessions. I do not direct our sessions or come with an agenda. My clients bring in whatever is on their mind, or challenges and reflections that have come up in the past week. I will help you make connections, gain insight, and consider different perspectives. When needed I will gently challenge your narrative to make room for a different way of thinking or relating to a person or experience. Over time, you will begin to think and feel differently and see changes in your daily life.

  • Please view our EMDR Therapy for Trauma specialty page here.

  • Sessions are held once per week. Many people find that this is just right for their needs, however there may be times when more than one session a week is indicated. Each person and situation is unique, and session frequency can be an ongoing conversation in our work together.

Sessions are 50 minutes. Some couples or families may request a 75-minute or 90-minute session to ensure there is enough time to explore and process what is coming up for each person. Please inquire about this option directly should you think an extended session would be the best fit for you and your family.

  • While this is unique to each person, the kind of therapy I do is an investment - but it is an investment in yourself and your future. It is not a bandaid or a quick fix and many clients are in therapy with me for six months or longer. This is because we are doing deeper work to create real, lasting change.

  • For those who are unable to maintain a weekly therapy schedule due to personal circumstances or scheduling difficulties, we offer options for customized Therapy Intensive. Learn more about Therapy Intensives here.

  • I offer both in person and virtual therapy. My office is located in Hermosa Beach. I see clients virtually throughout California and New Jersey.

  • Due to state regulations, I am unable to provide therapy to those living outside of California or New Jersey at this time.
